Meet Our Management Team

 

Steve Pate

Chief Operating Officer, Steve Pate has over 30 years of experience in the real estate development and construction industry in Florida, Texas and the Carolinas. His past projects have included high rise condominiums, single family home communities, golf courses and commercial properties. Steve spent 11 years in the banking industry, financing and developing properties. Much of his experience was gained while working with large national home building and development firms.

Shannon Pow

Chief Financial Officer, Shannon Pow, is responsible for managing the entire accounting department. Her duties include but are not limited to the management of cash flow, maintaining the books and records in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles, preparation of monthly corporate financial statements as well as overseeing the management of the various projects from an accounting standpoint. Shannon coordinates the annual audit of the various Properties and United Management II, Inc. and works very closely with our Certified Public Accountant in maintaining and over-seeing the various Projects' due diligence requirements.

Shirley McMillan

Shirley McMillan's job duties as a Regional Manager with United Management II include overseeing the daily operations of tax credit and conventional properties in North and South Carolina and to make sure that they are in compliance with NCHFA/SCHFA  rules and regulations. This includes reviewing reports on a weekly basis to make sure that rents are being collected and that the complexes stay above 93% occupied.

Georgia Velazquez

As a Senior Regional Manager, Georgia Velazquez is certified in tax credits, HUD properties, EIV security training, Fair Housing and is also a North Carolina Notary. On the job, Georgia is responsible for hiring employees, training them and terminating employment. Georgia also works as the EIV Coordinator for the field and the 504 Coordinator for the HUD properties.

Kristina Grinstead

Kristina Grinstead-Regional Manager worked with United Management II for 6 years, started as a Property Manager in June, 2004, was promoted to Regional Manager in January, 2007. Overseeing daily operations of 15 Tax Credit Properties consisting of 800 Units in North and South Carolina Region as well to assure to be in compliance with NCHFA/SCHFA state/city and county regulation, also occupancy, review weekly reports, overseeing managers are collecting rents and sign off recertificationís and move-ins.

Glen Mobley

As the Security Director for United Management II and United Developers, Glenn is responsible for developing, implementing, leading and directing company-wide security programs. The implementation of a Security Director demonstrates that security is an essential part of the business model and a commitment to providing safe neighborhoods to residents.

Bill Gentry

Bill Gentry's role at United Developers as Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is to maintain all United Management II apartments in a high state of serviceability, so that they are always market ready for rent. As Maintenance Supervisor, Bill's job  is also to schedule and coordinate work assignments for maintenance personnel and coordinate repairs from subcontractors as needed.

Michael Fosdyck

Michael Fosdyck, Maintenance Supervisor, has over 10 years experience in new construction of town homes and military housing in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. Joined United Management II to oversee the maintenance quality and service.
